Altitude Design Summit

I was introduced to the Alt Summit by my amazing friend Amanda. I'm super excited that they're now doing online classes!! I want to take all of them, but really I'm looking forward to Getting Started with Advertising for Bloggers by Liz Stanley. I love Liz and Say Yes to Hoboken, and am looking forward to this class. #thanksBing for such an amazing opportunity.  

Happy New Year

I'm going to try to take a photo a day, and post it, for the entire year. Might be a little difficult but it seems like a good challenge. It'll get me blogging more, and it'll help me take more pictures (I promise I'll try to make sure they're not all of Griffin... and I promise to do a mixture of iPhone and regular camera pictures, too).

Here's Day 1. It's dinner time in our household and that's Griffin's favorite time of day. He's cracking up in this picture and I just love it!!

thoughts on life

i'm trying to figure out what to do with myself. besides being a stay at home mom, that is. i love blogging, but i want to be better at it, and i feel like i'm not interesting enough or don't have enough to share. my lovely sister, brie, is thinking of quitting her job and taking some indesign or photoshop courses. i want to take a photography class, and i think together we could be a great team. bloggers, designers, photographers. i think it's a genius idea, and would totally appeal to my creative side which desperately needs an outlet.
